Our very own Marvin Krislov, the president of Oberlin College, wrote an op-ed that appeared in the Washington Post over the weekend. It’s about the importance of making it easier for students to vote.
I suggest that you read the op-ed here but I’ll summarize: Some people like to make it hard for college students to vote. Krislov thinks college students should be treated like regular citizens and be allowed to vote. To deny them this right is undemocratic.
As an Oberlin student and a politically aware young person, I appreciate President Krislov’s concern about this issue. College students are an easy target for disenfranchisement. It’s good to have someone like President Krislov on our side.

it’s not that hard for college students to vote. i only had to wait in line for 10 hours during the 2004 election at kenyon. good thing ohio went democratic, otherwise it wouldn’t have been worth the wait….
